The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Moldova was a meeting place of the CCI of Russia President Sergey Katyrin and of the CCI of RM President Sergiu Harea. The sides discussed prospects of development of inter-chamber relations, interaction in the exhibition and trade fair industry, a number of other topics. The meeting was attended by the vice-presidents of the CCI of RM Mihai Bîlba and Tudor Olaru and members of the Russian delegation: vice-president of the CCI of Russia Vladimir Padalko and regional director of the International Cooperation Department Olga Stasyun.

More than 400 business and incentive tourism industry experts, organizers of exhibitions, forums and conferences gathered in St. Petersburg for the annual Eurasian Event Forum - EFEA 2017.

The President of CCI of Russia Sergey Katyrin took part in the panel discussion "The new tax policy of Russia: what changes we expect in 2018?" which took place on January 14 in Moscow within the Gaidar Forum.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a traditional festival of "Christmas on Ilyinka Street" which for the 13^th time organized the Church of the Prophet Elijah with the support of the CCI of Russia.

The event was attended by the Counsellor to the President of the CCI of Russia Georgi Petrov, representatives of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and expert organizations. The Council discussed the most important innovations of the EAEU’s Customs Code.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation hosted another Business breakfast within the series "Meetings at Ilyinka Street". The guest of the meeting was the Head of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor), Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Russian Federation Anna Popova.

In his message, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said: "During all these years you facilitate the development of private initiative helping to build civilized relations between all market participants. The Chamber protects legitimate interests of business and that is especially important ensures effective two-way communication of the business community and the state.

In the World Trade Center took place the Primakov Readings International Forum dedicated to the memory of the scientist and public figure of Yevgeny Primakov. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin addressed the International Forum to emphasize the importance of Yevgeny Primakov’s academic and political heritage.

President of CCI of Russia Sergey Katyrin took part in the meeting of Council for Strategic Development and Priority Projects chaired by President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The Council discussed support for non-resource exports and environmental development.

President of the CCI of Russia Sergey Katyrin is in Israel as part of the official delegation headed by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.The head of the Russian government, met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, in which also participated Sergey Katyrin. During the meeting the sides discussed a range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including economic cooperation and political interaction.
